CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Feb. 12, 2013) - Blackline GPS (TSX VENTURE:BLN) has been selected by members of the Alberta Export Award advisory committee as one of 3 finalists in the category of Emerging Exporter alongside Brimrock Group Inc. and Swift Environmental Equipment Ltd. The Alberta Export Awards are the province's most prestigious awards paying tribute to the innovative approaches and contributions of Alberta export companies from all regions of the province, as well as those individuals who create success. These Awards aim to:
- Increase awareness amongst Albertans as to the important role that exporting plays in the provincial economy
- Identify and reward Alberta's most successful and innovative exporters
- Promote Alberta's top exporters, as corporate role models, to stimulate greater involvement in exporting within the province's business community
This year's event will be held in Calgary on the 15th of March at 11 am at the Calgary TELUS Convention Centre, 120 - 9th Avenue SE.
