Notification: Febrary 5, 2023
On February 5, 2023, Blackline Safety, was notified by a client representative that a report made available on the Blackline Live web portal made available additional information not directly related to their account. Blackline Safety immediately conducted a comprehensive review regarding the report in question. It was found that five Blackline Live reports provided access to a limited amount of data from other client accounts due to an error in setting access restrictions, which has been corrected. These reports contained the following information for the client and other Blackline Safety customers: employee first and last names, company name and company email addresses linked to a Blackline Safety device. In available logs, Blackline had no records of those reports being accessed by any other customer.
